How To Make PomPom Garlands

I love making and adding fun bits and bobs to a room and this pom pom garland is a easy and cheap way of doing so.

First of all i get out all my wool and choose 3 or 4 pretty colours. When i’m out and about i always get wool when its on offer instead of buying it all in one hit.

This is all my wool! x

Next up its time to start making your pom poms! You can either use the older way with 2 cardboard discs or you can use pom pom makers which are very easy and you can buy online.

This is what the PomPom makers look like.

I found a really good site explaining how to make the pom pom with cardboard discs :

But remember you dont have to follow the instructions exactly you can make the discs smaller if you want.

Here’s where you can buy the pom pom makers, you get two in a pack and you can choose the size you want.

The small pom pom makers :

The big pom pom makers:

Once you have made all the pom pom that you want (for a good size garland i would make about 20) you can then begin threading the pompoms onto a large bit of wool.Use a big needle and try to go through the middle of the pompom.

Here's what it should look like when you thread them on.

Finally hang up your pompom garland and enjoy! x

My top 3 favourite skincare products

Here are the three best skincare products that I use and think are amazing!

The first one is the witchhazel blemish stick, I just pop it on my problem areas before bed and when I wake up my skin looks much better. It works really well overnight but not as good during the day.

Here’s the link for the Witchhazel blemish stick

Next up is my favourite day cream from no7.This is quite pricey but I noticed the difference almost immediately I put a pea sized bit all over my face in the morning and then go do my makeup. I really love it because it doesn’t clog up your skin or make it feel horrible and sticky. Also it has spf 15 which is good because you should always wear sun cream.

Lastly is the silver serum, it sounds quite strange but is absolutely amazing. You really only need to put a small amount on problem areas and they’re gone overnight. I find I get the best results if I swap from witchhazel to silver serum each night so my skin doesn’t get used to anything.

Hope this helped you if you were looking for some good products for your skin! Thankyou for reading x

Day at home

I’ve finally got round to doing a day in the life blog yay !

For breakfast I had one of my summer smoothies ( I’ve done a blog post on the recipe) in the lovely morning sun.

I then read one of my favourite books which is ‘the fault in our stars’.

After a while I had a delicious pasta salad for lunch.

I used at tomato pesto and added some salad. I chose: red onion, sugarsnap peas, pepper and I put some cheese on top aswell.

Later on I had a yummy chocolate muffin!

The weather was really nice and sunny today so I thought I would make the most of it and relax in the garden!

For tea we had homemade pizzas which were absolutely delicious! X

I hope this has given you some meal ideas and a bit of an insight into my day! X
