Travel : Norwich to Suffolk ✿

So a couple of weeks ago my family and i decided to take little trip to Norwich and Suffolk coast. It was such a lovely night away and seen as Suffolk holds one of my all time favourite beach towns , i couldn’t wait to share with you guys!

We started our trip in Norwich , where we shopped for the the best part of the day and also looked around a university for my sister. Sadly i didn’t pick up anything , however i did have the most delicious evening meal in Gourmet Burger Kitchen.

After watching many of Zoe’s (Zoella) vlogs where she visited GBK i desperately wanted to try it out. She raved about the skinny fries and garlic mayo , so of course i had to try it! The picture above is actually of my sister’s meal, because i forgot to take a picture of mine before taking a bite (whoops!). I can hands down say it was the best burger i have ever tried, and if you are a burger fan just like me then definitely try this restaurant out. Also the drinks were AMAZING ( i had strawberry elderflower).

The next day on our way to Southwold and Aldeburgh , we stopped off at a little town. We mainly went there for their huge antique barns filled with so many gorgeous pieces of furniture , one room felt like we had been transported into the 60s – it was brilliant!

Then we arrived at Southwold hurrah! This place instantly makes me happy ,  i absolutely love southwold. We come every single summer and every year it instantly makes me smile.

Every time we come to Southwold we go to this little ice cream shop which has so many delicious flavours. I went for candyfloss and it was yummmy! My family went for bakewell tart, salted caramel and bubblegum which were all pretty delicious but i couldn’t turn down such a pretty pink ice cream!

After my ice cream i did brave it into the sea, which was pretty cold but wonderful at the same time!

Final stop – Aldeburgh. Here we mooched around the highstreet and had fish & chips on the beach. I love sitting on Aldeburgh beach as not only can you see the beautiful sea, but also the stunning buildings around you.

After Aldeburgh we embarked on the long journey home , feeling full up on seaside treats!

Thanks very much for reading , i hope you enjoyed hearing about my travels. I would love to hear your favourite beaches and places to visit! x

Makeup , Baking & Decorating ✿

Today I’m sharing with you a day in life! I feel like I haven’t done one of these in absolutely ages , so I thought I would show you what I got up to today!

For makeup , I went for a cat eye and a bright lip ! I also used my new *squeals* contour kit which is in fact very good! I also used one of my favourite blushes , the Kiko top pairs blusher – this is so good!

I then  sadly had to get on with some  work , but it wasn’t too bad is I sat in my lovely new desk area!

I think working in a pretty place , makes it so much better and even enjoyable!

After finishing all of my work , I thought the best way to relax was to do some baking. I made some fridge cake , and I have actually done a full recipe on that Here. I think this gets better each time , because it was so yummy!

For lunch I made my delicious Philadelphia pasta , and this is the nicest pasta ever and it’s so easy to make!

Just drain some tinned sweetcorn , cut up some ham and grate some cheese.

Cook some pasta and then drain through the same collider you drained the sweetcorn through , for added flavour.

Stir through the Philadelphia while the pasta is still hot , add the other ingredients and it’s good to go!

By no means is this the healthiest lunch , but it’s a nice easy treat every now and again.

So i  was sat watching some youtube videos for a while , and I got on to room tours and it made  me feel really inspired to jazz up my own room. I had some postcards and posters just sat in a draw seo I dcided to stick them up on my wall using some pretty washi tape in the hope that it looked nice!

Im actually really pleased with how it ended up and it definatley makes a huge difference to my room and I’m super happy!

That’s pretty much all I did that day , I then just had some tea and relaxed and popped on a movie . I watched my all time favourite move ‘love rosie’it is such a funny , feel good movie that’s defiantly  worth a watch !

Thanks for reading , I hope you enjoyed hearing about my day! Let me know if you want me to carry on doing posts like this !

A day in suffolk

So on Monday I had an amazing day with my family going to Suffolk ( which is about 2hours from where I live ) we visited 3 places and it was lots of fun! X

So to begin with we went to Aldeburgh, we walked the streets and popped in a few shops!

Then for lunch we had a burger from the local butchers! Because it’s summer they were doing a BBQ and it was very delicious. We ate the burger on the beach and the weather was lovely – I had such a nice time! We had a stroll along the beach and then decided to go to Thorpness!

In Thorpness we went to an Antique Emporium which was full of lots of lovely bits and then we sat on the green in the sunshine drinking a delicious drink ! ( I would highly recommend these drinks they are Sanpellegrino )

Our last stop was Southwold which could well be one of my favourite places ever !

I went for a look in some of the shops and then of course got a delicious ice cream ! ( mine was lemon curd flavour ) Then we sat on a patch of grass just enjoying the sunshine! We had a lovely walk along the beach and went paddling in the sea.

Then we headed off home ! It was an amazing day x I would love to here if you have ever been to any of these places and what you got up to!

Day at home

I’ve finally got round to doing a day in the life blog yay !

For breakfast I had one of my summer smoothies ( I’ve done a blog post on the recipe) in the lovely morning sun.

I then read one of my favourite books which is ‘the fault in our stars’.

After a while I had a delicious pasta salad for lunch.

I used at tomato pesto and added some salad. I chose: red onion, sugarsnap peas, pepper and I put some cheese on top aswell.

Later on I had a yummy chocolate muffin!

The weather was really nice and sunny today so I thought I would make the most of it and relax in the garden!

For tea we had homemade pizzas which were absolutely delicious! X

I hope this has given you some meal ideas and a bit of an insight into my day! X
