Huge Clothing and Beauty Haul ✿

Hey guys! Recently I have been doing some shopping… and it turned out to be quite a lot of shopping, and what do you do when you buy loads of stuff? A haul!!! As you will probably be able to tell there is a very clear theme of monochrome clothing, but black and white goes with everything so you can’t go wrong. So if you want to see what i have been buying over the past few weeks, then carry on reading!

Bumble Bee Shirt – Primark £7 – I love this shirt SO much and it’s just such a versatile and easy piece to wear.

Superga – £25 (sale) – I’ve been after some black plimsoll-type trainers for a while , and when I saw these half price I had to snatch them up!

Patterned Trousers – Matalan £4.50 (sale) – First of all , these were such a bargain price (originally £8) , they’re such good quality and have a lovely design. These trousers are actually quite tailored , and go tight at the bottom without any elastication. they have elastic at the back of the waist and are so comfy. I have worn these non-stop and i LOVE them.

Black Frill Top  – H&M £7 – I brought this top to pair with patterned skirts or just to wear with jeans to jazz up a usually plain black top. These frill tops are very in at the moment and i really like it.

Stripy Long-Sleeved Tee – Primark £4 – I brought this to go under dungarees and with skirts. I actually bought a skirt which you will see in a minute that i thought it would go nicely with.

Black Hat – M&S £3 (sale) – I ADORE this. This was down from £25 i believe , so such a bargain. It is my first ever hat like this and i can’t wait to wear it in the winter.

Stripy Bikini Shorts – H&M £3 (Sale) – When I tried these on , i really liked how they settled just above the hips. I love the quality of these and i am currently on the search for a black bikini top to pair them with.

These are a few random beauty bits that i picked up , the first being The Botanics Radiance Balm (£2.99). This is lovely to wear under makeup , as its= gives your skin a gorgeous healthy glow. I picked this  up from Boots when there was an offer on the Botanics skincare. Next from Accessorize i got this gorgeous nail polish. I mainly got this to stand on my dressing table , as i love the packaging. The last beauty item is a Benefit product. I got Benefits Precisely My Brow Pencil. I got this when there was 15% off so it was around £16. I had no intention on buying this , however the lady in there did my brows for me and I just adored the look this product gave.

Maroon Skirt – M&S £19.50 – This skirt looked like the perfect winter skirt and i loved how it fitted, so i had to pick it up.

So I very much hope you enjoyed this post, I definitely won’t be buying anything else for a long old time! Let me know your favourite item from the haul!

What’s In My School Beauty Bag ✿

For my final back to school themed post, I’m going to be sharing what’s in my school beauty bag. I think I have covered all of the essentials a girl would need beauty wise at school!

So my actual bag is from Betty and Walter this is the same design as my pencil case. I adore this pattern and love that all my bags match ! This bag is a really good size and fits everything I need without taking up too much space in my school bag.

✿ Hair Pins and Hair Bobbles – Pretty standard, I just keep these handy becuase you never know when you will be blessed with a hair disaster (very common for me).

✿ Wet Wipes – Necessary if you get pen all over your hands or after a experiment in science etc.

✿ Hand Cream – I love to moisturise my hands after cold lunches outside or after writing for a long time.

✿ Hair Brush – I got a little hair brush from SuperDrug which is small and slimline which is great for my bag and handy for sorting my hair out after windy break times.

✿ Hand Sanitizer – I got a huge bottle from Boots , as I’m a bit of a germ freak. I use this before lunch and if there’s no soap in the toilets.

✿ Lip Scrub and Lip Balm – I love the Lush lips scrubs and they’re especially good when paired with a baby lips. My favourite baby lips is the watermelon one as I just love the watermelon scent.

✿ Nail File and Nail Polish Pad – I got some really tiny nail files from Tiger which are just so handy if you cath your nail whilst in school. I also find Topshop’s nail polish remover pads SO handy. In previous school years on a Monday morning just as I’m leaving the house I forget about the nail polish on my fingers so these little pads are a life saver.

✿ Concealer and Oil Blot Stick – I always like to have a Collection lasting perfection concealer handy, as they’re so easy to blend and hide any imperfections perfectly. I also love Benefits Porefessional License to Blot Stick , as it’s so quick and easy to remove any oil .

So I really hope you enjoyed my back to school series. I hope this has helped you remember some bits to pack in your bag . Have a great time at school , see you soon !

Simple Back To School Makeup ✿

So it’s almost that dreaded time again , back to school. For the next 3 posts , I’m going to be doing back to school themed posts, to get everyone ready for school and maybe (just maybe) make you excited for school rather than hiding every time the S word is mentioned. I know I’m not looking forward to going  back to school , but hopefully these posts will make me and you look forward to it! So without further ado lets get started with my simple back to school makeup look!

So to keep your skin oil and shine free throughout the long old school day , I would recommend applying the Benefit Porefessional Matte Rescue Primer. This primer really does the trick , I assure you it lets no oil creep through in the day!

Moving onto base makeup. I tend to skip BB cream on school days , due to hectic early mornings. However my trusty Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer hides any horrible bags , spots and blotches which is all I need for school. And just to ensure absolutely no oil appears on your face , I dab Benefits Porefessional License To Blot on my T-zone.

I then slightly warm up my face with the Rimmel Natural Bronzer. This finishes off my natural makeup look and helps to disguise my place face!

For eyes I swipe Clinique’s Eye Shadow Stick ( bountiful beige) all over my lid and blend slightly with a fluffy brush. I then go back with my bronzer to deepen the crease and pull the look together. I finish off my eyes with Benefit They’re Real Mascara this gives a really natural fluttery finish.

I then finish with a tinted lip balm by Maybelline (cherry me) once again for a really natural look.
So I very much hope you enjoyed this minimalistic makeup look. It is very easy and lightweight and takes me a total of five minutes in the morning ! Thanks so much for reading !

Budget Beauty – Full face of makeup for £25 ✿

So I decided to set myself the challenge of creating a complete makeup look for under £25 . This look totalled at £22! Today I’m going to share with you a bunch of inexpensive products that create the perfect budget makeup look.

Now I don’t use foundation which helped me reach my target budget of £25. But for my base makeup , I used Collection lasting perfection concealer (£4.99) and to set that in place , I used Rimmel Clear complexion powder (£4). Both of these prep cuts are my go to , they’re so inexpensive but such high quality. I would definitely recommend these products if you’re starting out with makeup or just looking for a cheaper alternative.

Moving onto eyebrows , I picked up the MUA eyebrow pencil (£1). I use the shade Boone which matches my hair perfectly and I have ginger hair. This pencil has a spoolie on the end , which helps to make your brow look more natural. Also I have found this to be waterproof which is brilliant for everyday wear as it stays on even through the harshest weather.

For highlight , I chose the amazing Makeup Revolution Baked Highlighter Peach Lights (£3). This adds such a stunning shimmer and is such a high quality product with a really low price tag. For blusher I picked out Natural collections blusher Dusky Pink (£1.99). Natural collection is a really good brand and I think all of there products are packaged so nicely. This blush is very natural and just adds a subtle pop of colour-perfect for summer!

One product that I can not rave about enough, is MUA single eyeshadow Champagne (£1). This is ridiculously pigmented and just such a wearable shade. I use this almst everyday as either an eyeshadow or a highlighter. Definitely try out this product, it is amazing!

I have another eyeshadow , that I managed to squeeze into my budget. This is the Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette (£4). This contains 12 gorgeous and wearable shimmery shades, that are reflect for everyday use and can be built up for a more intense look. These eye shadows are super pigmented and have very little amount of fallout.

Moving onto mascara , this one I use a lot and love a lot. This is the Seventeen Long Lash Mascara ( £3.99). This not only lengthens lashes but also increases volume , I can’t find a single fault with the actual product. The only slight issue is the packaging , but we can move past that.

And finally lips. This product I don’t really like. It is very creamy, meaning it it transfers all over the place . Also it settles into the cracks in my lips making the overall appreance of my lips very bad. So the product I’m talking about is an MUA lipstick in the shade Bare (£1).

So this entire look totalled at £22. Most of these products I really liked and will contine to use. I hope you enjoyed reading and Thankyou very much!

Pop of colour – Makeup Look ✿

For my birthday I got a really cool bright pink eyeliner. I really love this product for summer , and today I wanted to share with you guys how I wear it. If you want to achieve a simple lightweight makeup look , then carry on reading.

After thoroughly cleaning my face , the first thing I do is primer. The primer that is my absolute favourite is Benefit Porefessional. After applying this product in my T-Zone , I move onto concealer. I use Rimmel Wake Me Up , just under my eyes , on any blemishes and on my forehead to highlight slightly. I blend this in with a beauty blender. Then to set my under eyes , I use Benefits Agent Zero Shine. I only use this under my eyes , as I wanted to keep the rest of my face looking dewy and fresh.

Moving onto brows, I did a full post on how I do my brows here. But the product I use is Collection Eyebrow Kit. I love this kit , as it is so easy to use and is really inexpensive.

Then the most exciting part, the eyeliner. I like to conceal over my eyes before using this , to act as a primer and block any colours or veins that might peek through. . They eyeliner I am using is NYX vivid brights – petal. The applicator on this is so precise, which makes it really easy to apply. This is the main part of the look , so spend your timer creating the perfect winged eyeliner look.

I then curl my eyelashes, and apply mascara. The mascara I used was a Ted Baker one. Sadly I don’t know the name of this one , but it gives a really natural coating and lifts the lashes well.

Finally , moisturise your lips, I love EOS lip balms. Then apply a nude lipstick I chose Makeup Revolution – The one. This gives a lovely matte finish and pulls the look together.

I hope you enjoyed this post, have you jumped aboard the bright eyeliner trend? Thankyou for reading ! X

What I got for my Birthday : Beauty! ✿

Almost 2 weeks ago now , it was my birthday, I got lots of amazing presents and today I wanted to share with you the beauty bits that I got.

I’m going to begin with lips. The first thing I got was a Makeup Revolution Lipstick ‘the one’ . I was telling my lovely friend how my mum had stole my previous one of this and how much I loved it and she very kindly bought me a new one!

The next thing I got , was my first ever NYX product. I’ve been wanting to try something from NYX for so long and I got Buttergloss ‘Maple Blondie’. This smells so yummy and looks so pretty on the lips! Another product I got from NYX , was the Vivid Brights eyeliner ‘ Vivid Petal’. I think this looks so cool on , and is so easy to apply. I can definatley see myself wearing this lots over the summer.

I got this amazing pallet from Makeup Revolution, and it is just stunning. This one is called Redemption Palette Esential Shimmers. This is amazing. The colours are so pigmented and just so sparkly this is definitely my new favourite drugstore pallet.

Next is this just beautiful set from Ted Baker. I got this from a lovely friend and I just adore this set.

I don’t know the name of this set , but it comes with 2 little eyeshadow palettes, a mascara , a eyeliner and some tweezers. I love the rose gold running through the set , it makes it look like such a classy product. I’ve tested all the products and they are all amazing. I love the golden eyeshadow set the best , as the colours really suit my skin tone.

I got another stunning set from Benefit. This one is called World Famous Neutrals. This comes with 2 cream eye shadows that come in Indivudal pots , and 4 powder eyeshades. They are all really nice versatile colours , and this set is brilliant for traveling.

And lastly I got something so exciting, my very first Urban Decay product , a naked pallet! I got the Naked 2 , something that I have been wanting for such a long time . I am super happy I got this and can’t wait to get trying some new looks with this!

Best Buys! ✿

Hi guys , hope you’re all well. Today is the first post of a series that i’m going to start : best buys. This could be wether i have managed to get my hands on some bargains or that i’ve brought something and i’m pleased with the purchase and it was a good buy!

So if you know me you will know that i love cards. Whenever i go to any cute little shops i’m always buying cards. I just think they finish off a present perfectly and they’re just really nice to send out at random times to cheer someone up! So when i went into my local clintons i was overjoyed to see this beautiful array or cards , with such a good price tag attached. They have an offer on where you can getter any 3 cards for just £2! I only got a few cards the first time i went , but once i got home i realised i needed more ( oops!). I now have a draw stuffed fall of cards and it makes me so happy – so sad i know!

Now the next thing isn’t so much of a bargain buy , but i saw these sunglasses and i absolutely fell in love. It doesn’t show too well in the picture , but they’re these gorgeous dusky pink and rose gold shades. They pink around the top and rose gold around the bottom .I actually got these from Marks and Spencers for £18 and im so pleased with them!

The next thing i wanted to show you , was an absolute bargain. I went into Boots after my trusty L’oreal heat protect spray. This is my favourite spray and normally retails for about £5.99 but when i went into boots it was just 26p! I thought this was a mistake , but when i went back to stock up on the spray it was still this price and I went back a few days later !

Next up is this MUA single eye shadow in ‘champagne’. Now i can’t rave about this product enough! One gentle swipe of it on the lid brightens your entire eye. It is SO pigmented and so creamy. I also works great as a highlighter! This product is hands down my favourite eyeshadow that i own and it is just £1!

For the summer i was after a hydrating yet light foundation. Of course i went to trusty Benefit , becuase it never disappoints! I found exactly what i was looking for with the oxygen wow foundation. This costs £23.85 , which is pretty pricey but it is an absolute dream. It covers all the blotvhy parts of my face, but lets my freckles peek through which is want you want for the summer. It reminds me more of a BB cream than anything. It is so lightweight you don’t feel like you have anything on and at the end of they day it doesn’t damage your skin it improves it! And another bonus it has SPF in it – can you tell how much i love this foundation?!

And last but definatley not least , nail polish! For the build up to summer , i wanted a summery colour for my nails that wasn’t too out there. When in tesco i always have a look at the reduced make up and that day i saw a Rita Ora nail polish in ‘roll in the grass’ for £1. It looked exacly like the shade i was after and for that price i had to give it a go. It’s a really pretty polish , and has lasted me 3 days with no chips! Definatley recommend!

Thanks very much for reading , i hope you enjoyed this post!

Seventeen First Impressions ✿

So last week, the lovely people at Seventeen sent me some makeup items and I have been so excited ever since to write a review. Seventeen arena affordable drugstore brand which are targeted towards teens. I’ve tested the products I thought I would let you know how I’ve got on with them.

I’m going to start with the Seventeen Long Lash Mascara. First off packaging. I am so impressed with seventeen’s packaging. From a far , it just looks plain black packaging , but up close it has these really pretty flecks of colour which catch the light and give a pretty shimmer. I really like the added detail and I was already liking the product just from that.

On to the product, the actual container of the mascara is very simplistic yet quite heavy and it felt good quality. It has a very thin wand , which are my favourite type of wands – well fairy wands are my favourite but we’re talking makeup right now ! This felt very soft on my lashes (is that even a thi girl?) , very gentle. The only slight downside is that I’ve found a lot of mascara gather around the top of the bottle which can get a little bit messy. But for a £6.99 mascara , this is amazing. It does really lengthen lashes and even though it’s not waterproof it hasn’t smudged even on the hottest of days! I will definatley be repurchasing this product!

Now the next thing I got , I was so excited about! It’s Seventeen’s cheek Stamp Blush. The packaging I adore, I love the colours ( of course I do , it’s pink!) and I love the sort of random splodges of pink on the white back round. I think it looks so cool but also quite high end. Then I opened up the box and I was wowed yet again by Seventeen. The packaging of the actual product is very sleek and compact. It also has a good size mirror on the top , which makes it perfect for travel or just to pop in your handbag.

I love the idea of having a sponge applicator for the blush, and I love how everything you need is all in one place. With his product you don’t need anything g else . You don’t need a brush , beciase IT alreayd has one and I just think this is really handy. This blush gives a really prety pink shimmery glow , which is perfect for summer. This product is £4.99 and I can’t find a single fault with it!

I’m very impressed with seventeen’s products , and will definatley be going for a snoop around their counter. I hope you enjoyed this first impression type post , and thanks for reading!

EyeBrow Routine ✿

Hello everybody! A couple of weeks ago I was asked to do a blogpost on how to do eyebrows. Now I have watched many tutorials and speeded up videos of beautiful defined eyebrows , and I can safely say mine aren’t like them. But I have learnt what looks good for a natural brow look , so why not share it with you !

If you didn’t already know , I have ginger hair so I need to use colours that compliment and go with my hair. I’ve found 3 products that I love and use everyday for my brows:

– The collection brow kit in light

– An MUA eyebrows pencil in blonde

– Benefit gimme brow also in blonde
I first use the MUA pencil and underline my entire brow. So I just take the pencil and draw exactly under my natural brow -obviously this bit looks a tad crazy. I then use a spoolie and brish the product upwards. This gives a really natural brow look and is a good base to do the rest of the brow. Make sure you don’t leave a harsh line at the bottom , and that its evenly belneded all the way through.

Then using mainly the lightest shade mixed with a little bit of the middle shade I gently brush through the rest of my brow. I only use the light shade really softly through the beginning of my eyebrow to get the gradient effect.

The last thing I do is set my eyebrows into place with my gimme brow ,this adds a bit of colour but also make sure your brow stays in the desired shape all day!

My 5 tips for brows –

1. Make sure there is No harsh lines

2. Comb through brows throughly before and after. Before to get them in the right shape and after to get rid of any excess product.

3. Don’t over pluck. Follow your natural brow shape just pluck any few strays that don’t follow a general eye brow shape. Leave your brows in their natural shape.

4. Use an eyebrow colour that is best suited to your hair. Don’t go crazy darker than your hair as they will look fake and unnatural.

5. Don’t be scared to experiment, try different products to see what works best for you!
Thanks for reading , I hope his helped some of you with brow dramas ! Let me know what your go to brow product is ! X
